The OE8101 is a high-precision Source Measure Unit (SMU) instrument, for a wide variety of applications such as modern semiconductor devices, nanodevices, battery materials, organic semiconductors, precision sensors, etc. The OE8101 features low noise, high precision and accuracy to help users innovate. At the same time, the OE8101 integrates an easy-to-operate touch screen, which is intuitive to interact with, easy to use, and quick to get started. The OE8101 is also compatible with the industry's common SCPI communication protocol, which is simple to program and convenient for users to realize automated test and analysis.

Thanks to the four-quadrant power output characteristics of the precision source measure unit OE8101, it can be used as a precision electronic load in addition to being a precision power source as well as a power meter. In the field of lithium battery performance testing, super capacitor charging and discharging test, this characteristic is especially important, not only to simplify the system wiring, but also to reduce the interference between different devices, and at the same time can reduce the relative error of the measurement during charging and discharging, improve the system test accuracy.
In addition, the OE8101 source measure unit can also be turned on capacitive load mode, so that the system supports up to 50 μF capacitive load. This further broadens the applicable scenarios.

Source measure unit OE8101 has a wealth of digital communication interfaces: USB serial port, GPIB, Gigabit Ethernet port, USB 2.0 host, Digital IO. these communication interfaces, compatible with the SCPI instrument communication protocol, user-friendly.
The OE8101 provides a convenient operation interface for users to set scanning parameters according to their needs, including start value, end value, scanning interval, number of measurement points, number of cycles, source output gears and limit values.
The picture in the red box shows the scanning model, which can be used to preview the results. Click the ‘Generate’ button on the right to generate a scan table and create a scan model. After setting the scanning parameters, you need to generate a scan table to synchronise the settings. Click ‘back’ button to return to the previous interface.

The upper computer software, SSI_SMU_Console, is richer in functions, while the computer operation is easier. It is easy to control the instrument, read and save data and analyze it through the upper computer, and firmware update is also available.
